News Advance got it right as far as the top team. Heritage in my opinion is the lead dog for the state championship. They have a lot of weapons w/ a solid D. In my opinion you got to have the 2 time champs Appomattox at #2, followed by Brookville #3, Amherst #4, Jefferson Forest # 5, SR #6, Altavista #7, EC Glass #8, LCA #9 William Cambell #10.
I don't know how they get away with putting JF, altavista, and ec glass in front of Lca
I thought Glass and LCA were too low, William Campbell and Altavista need to switch with them.

They are a little better then I thought. When they get the wing going they are hard to stop. Overstreet runs well but those other 2 backs (Jones and Tester)are the key to there success. If you could key on just Overstreet, he would get yards but the wing would be much easier to stop. Ultimately 3 good backs are harder to stop then one. I will eat crow because I made a statement about a team after one scrimmage. I will give credit where credit is due. I do still feel depth will be the issue winning in playoffs. Defense also needs to improve.
Kum-by-yah my lord! Kum-by-yah! Lol All bs aside. All high school teams are 1 significant injury away from disaster. You're right depth is a concern. Wish some of the kids capable of playing that walk those halls of the school would come out and play. But that's the story everywhere. Lots of young kids aren't playing because of the concussion scare in our country.
