Thanks for the info Mike. As a longtime friend of the family and respect for the Salem Football Program I have tweeted about Nate's progress this season at Carson Newman. It's not easy on the body/mind when kicking off, punting and kicking, but Nate has done very well. This weekend his team will be facing Bowie St. In the first round of the NCAA D2 Tournament. With his performance on the field and in the classroom the opportunity to transfer to a D1 program is likely. Personally, I hope he stays where hes at. Here are his regular season stats:

Kickoffs 49 of 73 kicks for touchbacks
9-14 on field goals with a long of 50.
51/51 extra points
41.6 punting average with 5 punts over 50 yards.
2 time special teams conference player if the week.
NCAA Regional Special Teams Player of the Week.
