As always, just my opinion. 3 through 7 could go in just about any order at the moment. Very difficult to rank those 5 schools.

1. Essex- Big win over King and Queen
2. Riverheads- A new streak begins
3. Lunenburg- Blowout win over 2A Rand. Henry
4. Galax- Lost to Graham by 14
5. Grayson Co- They continue to roll
6. King and Queen- Tigers will learn and improve
7. George Wythe- Surprised by close win over RR
8. Narrows- Bye week this week
9. Buffalo Gap- Easy win over Bath Co
10. Rye Cove- Gotta give the Eagles some love. 5-0 after folding last year

Giles got upset today by previously winless Fort Chiswell, and looked painfully pathetic in doing so. Don't know if it was a trap let down game, after a win against cross town rivals, Narrows last week.

Well if they continue to win then they'll certainly move there. I was definitely surprised that they only beat Rural Retreat by 2 last night after Grayson had just beat them by 40.

We will know more bout them after the Graham game, they struggled against a RR team that Grayson beat 40-0. Class one in the West is still up for grabs in my opinion.

We're good this year but boy do we make stupid mistakes at the worst times. GW had 3 very important games coming up that'll tell us all we need to know. We've got Graham then Galax then Grayson if we're 3-0 at the end of that then I agree we will probably make state. If we're 0-3 which is very possible with the level of competition those 3 bring them probably not. We are capable of making state this year but can we clean it up and play like we're capable of playing.
