Thanks. I thought he was #0, but I wasn't sure. They definitely won't be playing Friday. I'm not sure how that'll work when the VHSL said that all regionals need to be finished by Saturday. State semis are next Tuesday, I believe.Layne is #0, he hit a big 3 and the other guard (#15) had a solid 2nd half, #4 had a good 1st half - they are guard heavy. The big kid rebounded the ball well but the lay off looked like it hurt his feel for the game. He was dominating before the break. Northumberland #10 battled but got into foul trouble and had to sit most of the 4th quarter.
I don't think there is any chance they play Friday night with the weather coming in. Mathews dominated the 2nd half vs Charles City and will be playing at home. They got some offensive rebounds and easy buckets throughout the 2nd half. Who knows when they'll play but good luck to both teams.

Thanks Dre. Let's hope the roads are clear by SaturdayVirginia High School League extended the deadline to Sunday. If roads are clear on Saturday, they may be able to do it then.
Problem with Sunday is that Mathews is scheduled to host both games but also is supposed to host the 1A/1B super-regional in wrestling.
