Northumberland vs Christchurch

Christchurch scored on a 54 yard pass to open game.

Then faced absolute destruction by NHS defense.

Near the end of the half, Christchurch made a quite a foolish decision to go for it on 4th from their on 26. Someone from the crowd yelled loudly during a quiet moment from NHS side dont do it - if so, thank you for the Northumberland TD, a few plays later the Indians scored again.

Oh I see that the Rapp poster stopping posting the score- lol.

So sorry you came all this way cause you thought Northumberland would lose big by 10 to 21 points.

I guess no crow eating for the Indian Nation- a cakewalk win over last year’s private school champs - it was 47-7 in the third when all the subs came in.

Final - Northumberland 47 Christchurch 9. Congrats boys - statement made.

I didn't expect anything less. My son went to the Rapp-Christchurch Scrimmage and said Christchurch was not very good.

while I usually don’t rub it in, to all those posters (mainly from Rapp) who continued to talk s— about my NHS boys and the good name of Northumberland - plus came at me just cause I was supporting my team. Well, try to apply some critical thinking skills to what I am about say before you respond.

I hope that you boys enjoyed your visit - to school.

Amazing game by both teams. At the 4th they put in 2nd team. It took a little for the Indians to wake up but when they did it was game over, Delvin Palmer woke them up with a return after that it was over, he scored like 4 times, Keon Redmond, he had some very good runs broke so many tackles that lead to a touchdown, Adams, had a lot of good passes and threw a touchdown pass, Caleb Davis on defense pressured the QB and had so many tackles so many times i lost track. The line has gotten better still need to prepare for the ones on top and they didn’t “blow through them”. They ate on the fact that they were called a teams step-child, doubted, and disrespected. Good game boys can’t wait to see what next week holds...

One man band "Delvin Palmer & the Pips" = NHS....... Good Win, you guys get a chance to beat your Stepdad next week

Palmer probably touch the ball maybe 4 times but Northumberland a one trick pony save it he can’t help it he score every time he touches it

I thought that Christchurch was a pretty good team and better than I expected.

I would not worry about what these people who criticize NHS say anymore - some of these same posters criticized Essex while I was there every year on Va Preps early on the season - we thought it was funny and payed them no mind besides receiving a good laugh. (I know my man essextrojan1 remembers ha).

Honestly, I am not sure if they can win a game of tic-tac-toe.

Delvin Palmer is an amazing player - He may be and probably is the best overall player in 1A - it is insane - he can score every single time he gets the ball from anywhere on the field. He has also been much better leader this year - he wants the team to win not just him do well.

NHS has lots of talent and the D is stifling. Caleb, Collin, Keon, Tristen, Mason, Blake, Bo, Morris, #11 on D is the man plus more.

I guess that Green Bay is one trick pony with Aaron Rogers and the Steelers with Antonio Brown and so on for every team that is any good at any level.

I know it will be electric in heathsville next Friday night hope I’m back from business trip to catch game. Essex vs Northumberland & Rapp vs Colonial Beach those games will tell so much about the district. I expect both games will be close and competive.
