NOVA 6A Week 1 Results by District

Week 1 results by VHSL District for the 6A teams in the NOVA area. It is REGION rankings though that will determine playoff qualification and seeding. Although I haven't seen anything yet how that will work. Potomac (Woodbridge) is the only 5A team in the Cardinal District while Marshall and Stuart are the only 6A teams in the National District.

Although the document at this link still has some missing information, it explains the playoff structure for this year (this was posted on the 4A board). As far as I know, the points/rating system used to determine who makes the playoffs remains the same.

I saw that but I like you mention it doesn't actually confirm Class 6 , Regions A, C and D are definitely using the power points. I assume they will but I don't know why they wouldn't have just said so.

IMHO, that (the delay in regions deciding what system to use) is what happens when the king lets his lords rule the kingdom. Someone has to be in charge but for some reason unknown to me it isn't the state level governing body.
 
I was told recently that region C/D (northern region) will continue to do a 16 team bracket. But will take with grain of salt until I see something confirmed.
