That's a pretty strong group. If I was going to rank them -
Franklin
Northumberland
Essex
Rapp
Colonial Beach
Sussex
West Point
Washington and Lee
Northampton

Essex, Rapp, colonial beach all really close.
I think Rapp handles WP if they play again. We'll see how good they are late in the season when they play King William Friday.

What's your assessment now after the KW-WP game/score? KW dressed 41 and WP dressed 17. WP held KW scoreless in 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters with stops in the red zone. And KW was expected to run the score up on WP. I have not seen the game stats yet, but I know KW's only 2 TDs came in the 1Q when WP was in a 3 man D front. WP made a D adjustment late in the the 1Q and that was the difference. Also, WP's lead tackler and RB (#23) did not play in the game due to injury sustained in the previous game vs Mathews

WP was impressive. There is no doubt they have some really good players but just not enough in my opinion. Weather helped WP last night for sure. WP has a scrappy bunch and as I said before their strength is in their LBs and RBs.

I agree with you. Numbers have always been an issue with WP. If you look at their enrollment vs how many come out for football, WP averages 7% of their student body coming out for football where as other 1A programs average 14% or more of their student body playing football. WP can compete with just 17 kids. Imagine what they could accomplish if they had 40+ on their roster.
