I'm not going to really weigh in on either side here. I'm looking more for some perspective on this. Is it wise for schools to schedule out of state in our current system? Are there any real disadvantages to it? I would assume the school you are playing matters a lot, but I am curious what everyone thinks. I mean Graham and Bluefield can't just stop playing. Virginia and Tenn. High have to keep going. But Narrows v. Montecalm...really? No VA schools to fill that slot? Just getting some opinions! I certainly won't blast anyone!

I like it. I feel like there is a bit of Virginia state pride involved in these games and a chance to show that we have better athletics here than in other states.

Of course, I'm also of the mind that Private vs. Public school games should be banned (The Money worshipping school in Lynchburg ruined that purity with their lawsuit obviously...). I'd much rather see Narrows play Montcalm than see them play "Mom and Dad's Basement Bible School" like Craig County did last year and this year for example.
