This narrows team can play, they have a talented roster and will continue to push a lot of good teams. Pruett is a great player and will have some good years ahead of him in the Pioneer. It doesn’t matter what the roster looks like between these two teams, it’s always a physical back and forth dog fight.Any injuries for PM in this game? That score is a shocker
Hamilton has played the majority of games this year, if I recall correctly he played the majority if not the whole game against LCA, West Point, and Riverheads. I don’t think it was an issue of minutes, but more of how hard he had to work against constant double teams and the constant dive down from the narrows guards. They constantly had bodies on him and I was shocked the foul calls weren’t more frequent. It’s tough for officials as he’s always the tallest on the court, but I’ve always leaned that regardless of size, the game should be officiated the same way.Hamilton s didn’t start cramping until the final few seconds of the game. Hamilton had to play the entire game last night which is something he isn’t used to having to do. He usually is pulled out atleast for a minute every quarter. Wasn’t the case last night. Narrows however played a man down as they have almost all year. They are just now getting their PG (Shepherd) back and had a 10ppg player sidelined due to a rolled ankle (#10 Smith). Narrows by the end of the year will be a team to be reckoned with, if they become fully healthy. Last night was two great basketball programs going blow for blow the entire game with Narrows leading by 1 with 13 seconds to go and having a shot with 1 second left to tie it. Narrows showed last night that when healthy they are a top 5-10 program in single a basketball and PM showed why they are defending state champions. Excited to watch this rematch Tuesday at Narrows.
He may have came out but not for extended runs. Not many 7 footers out there that are playing the minutes he does and producing at the level he does from all levels of the court while playing heavy minutes and having high utilization.Hamilton subbed every quarter in all games that you mentioned. Last night was first time I personally have never seen him come out as he only came out at the end of the first quarter and Narrows went on a run. PM shot 16 free throws to Narrows 6. If it had been officiated any differently it more than likely would have benefited Narrows. I believe PM only missed 1 foul shot all night. Hamilton scored 11 of his 19 from the foul line as well. PM is a great team and Hamilton is a heckuva talent. The gym last night was electric and that is what makes high school basketball so special. The game Tuesday at Narrows I’m sure will be packed, as they always pack that gym. Should make for a fun filled night. I think everyone is looking forward to it. It’s nice to watch two high caliber teams battle.
And not that it matters in the conversation but if you’ve followed this thread or read some of the articles on him in papers he is a type 1 diabetic. Last night he threw something off of his arm a quarter into the game. Not saying that’s always the cause but I believe it does contribute at times.Hamilton subbed every quarter in all games that you mentioned.
