Should be a big game in Riner Friday. I think this game will be close but I'll take PM in a close one 23-21
I've saw PM on film and I think Auburn has better line play. Should be a good one though. I'll take Auburn 28-14Should be a big game in Riner Friday. I think this game will be close but I'll take PM in a close one 23-21
Auburn wins by at least 2 TD'sI am pulling for Auburn , but I think the tandem of Cook and Dawson will be to much, I think Coach Turner will beat the team's equal in talent , but when you play a more talented team hard to beat, that is any coach.
Wish I could agree, but we both know the lack of speed of Auburn, Cook and Dawson are going to be a tough duo. Friend I work with from Fort Chiswell said he saw Auburn in playoff game and game last Friday vs PM , raved about PM said they may be best team in west. He has watched his team play Radford, Rural and GW.Auburn wins by at least 2 TD's
One score i look at is Buffalo Gap only beat Bath Co 36-0 and they beat PM by 10. Auburn beat Bath 56-6 and could have been much worse.Wish I could agree, but we both know the lack of speed of Auburn, Cook and Dawson are going to be a tough duo. Would be a huge upset for Auburn to win, I would say the playoff wins the previous 2 years pretty big considering the state of the program. Heard at work because of weather school only allowed 2 days of after school activities .If Auburn beats PM, it will be their biggest win in a very long time.
I can agree with that but IMO it is even more IN-EXCUSABLE that it is not being played tonight as scheduled. I do not know about the area where PM is located but it has done little to nothing in the NRV as far as weather/rain. I was told by a reliable individual that Auburn wanted to play it tonight but the PM (Principal) did not want them to travel with the "so called" impending weather and that decision IMO was made way to early and prematurely. The weather people certainly managed to get everyone in a frenzy thinking the sky was going to fall and we were all going to wash away but it has yet to happen (at least in the NRV) and all these games are now cancelled/postponed. What makes it worse is Auburn has only been permitted to practice (2) days this week and so they will go into that game Monday with only having prepared (2) days. That is ridiculous for a game of this magnitude for them and PM. I guess they can only hope PM has had the same circumstances as far as preparation goes. At any rate you just have to strap it on and go with what you got..Game has been postponed until Monday. Inexcusable that it was not played last night, along with a lot of other games across the state.

Believe me when I say this...Coaches, players, most parents, principals, AD's all want to practice and play in the rain. The decisions on this have been taken out of their hands in every district that I know of. One person... the superintendent makes the decision for all the schools in his district and everyone runs lockstep. It's not a democracy. The guy/gal who makes the decision will always side with extreme caution because it only takes one bad decision and all @#$% breaks loose against a school and the administration if someone gets hurt. (see snow day decisions over the past few years). I don't even really blame the superintendent..he is only doing what is in his/her best interest. The true blame goes to the lawyers and the blame everyone else crowd who have managed to make common sense yesterdays way of thinking. It's rarely about what makes the most sense.I can agree with that but IMO it is even more IN-EXCUSABLE that it is not being played tonight as scheduled. Yup..because the illogical to me conclusion to that is that we must cancel every other activity lest we be criticized by somebody who might say school was cancelled but they played the game or they practiced anyway..even when the rain doesn't come and it is not nearly as bad as everyone thinks...they still totally shut the works down so no one can blame them for putting the "children" in danger or showing favoritism to one group or the other. It's a ridiculous way to run things. Why not leave it to the coaches or the principles.Montgomery County Supt. cancelled school on Friday. Once that happened there could be no after school activities.

It's kind of hard to use Bath County in any kind of score comparison. They are really down. One score i look at is Buffalo Gap only beat Bath Co 36-0 and they beat PM by 10. Auburn beat Bath 56-6 and could have been much worse.
Yes they are. That's why buffalo gap should have beaten them much worse. It's kind of hard to use Bath County in any kind of score comparison. They are really down.
I don't know about that pcken. When there is that much disparity in teams some coaches on the stronger teams don't pile on the points intentionally and they put the 2nd/3rd/4th teams in early and run the ball. Other coaches with a desire to give their team confidence and experience leave the first team in and their wide open offense going until the end. The comparison by points is pretty much irrelevant in this case when comparing blowouts. That is one reason I discount some of the ratings/rankings since they seem to be built around points against common opponent comparisons.Yes they are. That's why buffalo gap should have beaten them much worse.
