Goochland looked like a very diminsional team with many weapons. Defensively the 3-3 stack kept Powhatan guessing, although the Indians drove straight down the field on the opening drive. Special teams play and overall team speed a plus for the Bulldogs. Lack of pass coverage by the Indians the minus. Looks as if Powhatan may have some success with many offensive threats this year which will be a totally different look from Logan Allen left and Logan Allen right. Overall a very competitive and sharply executed game by both squads. Powhatan travels to Collegiate this Friday for a scrimmage and opens up at home on Thursday Sept. 3 with Midlothian.
