Adison Minor scored 15 points and hauled down 10 rebounds as Tennessee High took a 51-45 road win over Gate City on Saturday night.
THS (3-4) trailed 35-30 after three quarters, but outscored the Blue Devils 21-10 in the game’s final eight minutes.
Hailie Hatcher (10 points, three steals, three assists), Erin Walker (10 points) and Makayla Richards (eight points, four steals, two assists) also keyed the victory. The Vikings don’t play again until Dec. 18.
Sarah Thompson led Gate City with 17 points.
Wise County Central 57, Shelby Valley (Ky.) 49
Another tournament, another win for the Wise County Central Warriors.
The defending VHSL 2A state champions improved to 4-0 in winning the Powell Valley National Bank Tip-Off tournament.
Tournament MVP Dee Cvetnich had 16 points and eight rebounds to lead the Warriors.
Holston 50, George Wythe 37
Claudia Frost and Ally Manuel each scored 13 points as Holston used a fourth-quarter surge to top George Wythe in a consolation game of the Buffalo Wild Wings Bearcat Tip-Off tournament in Bristol.
Holston closed the game on a 22-7 run.
Honaker 48, Patrick Henry 42
LeeAnna McNulty (23 points) and Kyla Boyd (19 points) combined to score 42 of Honaker’s 48 points as the Tigers edged Patrick Henry in a consolation game of the Buffalo Wild Wings Bearcat Tip-Off tournament in Bristol.
Kaycee Deskins led PH with 16 points.
Belfry (Ky.) 48, Grundy 34
Maggie Deel scored 14 points for Grundy, but it wasn’t enough as the Golden Wave lost a non-district game.
Five-foot-10 senior Lexi Coleman added 11 points for the ’Wave. Belfry used a 14-5 second-quarter run to take control.

Ridgeview 75, Patrick Henry 46
Jacob Yates scored 17 points as Ridgeview rolled to a win over Patrick Henry in the championship game of the Breaks Holiday Classic.
Ridgeview opened a 22-3 lead to start the game and never looked back.
Drew Miller led PH with 18 points.
Council 74, Hurley 72
Jason Perkins poured in 36 points as Council earned an overtime win over Hurley in the third-place game of the Breaks Holiday Classic at Ridgeview High School.
Perkins came up with a steal at the end of regulation for Council and hit six straight free throws at one point in OT.
“Perkins had an amazing game,” said Council coach Jeremy Ratliff. “I’m proud of all the boys. They all did an unbelievable job. We were down 14 in the third quarter, but they continued to fight their way back in it.”

Abingdon 65, Marion 53
Abingdon’s high-scoring duo of Thomas Francisco and Ean Bassham were back at it again as the Falcons improved to 3-0.
Francisco fired in 22 points, while Bassham scored 15 points. The Falcons led 33-32 at halftime and pulled away in the second half.
Senior Zach McNeil led Marion with 17 points.
