Boys
Clover Hill: The team is young. Seniors Casey Evans and Sam Sager will lead the way, along with senior Nathan Lam and junior Joe Rioux. Cosby: Defending regional champ Cosby will be a major force again with Connor Doyle, Dylan Moore and Garrett Schultz, plus Robbie Siegfried, Eric Dailey and Miguel Quimbayo-Cipric.
Cosby: The Titans have shoes to fill with the departure of All-Metro runner of the year Grant Northcutt, but they return Connor Doyle and five others from a team that finished second in the state in Class 6 and won the region
James River: Seniors Noah Hester and Aaron Johnson qualified for the state meet and will get help from junior Luke Lamberson and seniors Joe Laruffa, John Herrmann and Alex Goldman.

Girls:
Clover Hill: The Cavaliers have seniors Grace Puelo and Karis Bump, but are young and inexperienced. Sophomores Caroline Puelo and Shawn Atzinger will contribute.
Cosby: The Titans are strong up top with Rachel Northcutt, Avery Hairfield and MacKenzie Burleson. Also back are Ashley Burleson, Avery Garner and Rachel Malone.
James River: Charlie Walmsley, Lindsey Hester and Megan Covington lead an experienced but young team. James River expects several freshmen to contribute.
