Previewing the RVa area 2018 high school cross country season

Class 4:
Boys
Caroline: Building for the future, Caroline will be paced by juniors Zachary Mosonyi and Aidan Huff.

Hanover: Squad is heavy on underclassmen but has potential, led by junior Cole Myers. Troy Charanis, Wes Gable, Vance Woolard, Jake Osborn and James Droujinsky return.

Midlothian: Defending regional champs will be hard to dethrone with Max Etka, Ian Gray, Andrew Steenkamer, Thomas Gray, Joey MacGuire and Brian Tavenner back.

Girls:
Hanover: The Hawks will be in the region mix with 1,600-meter state champ Rachel Crytser, returnees Grace McDaniel, Garnett Martin and Sidney Chesley, and newcomer Alli Moore.

Midlothian: The Trojans (fifth in the state) are young but have talent with Annabel Schepker (fifth in the region), Katherine Kreivs, Chloe Martin, Caroline Bowe, Lena Caffall and Olivia Morris.
