How they got here


The Seahorses 5-3 record includes three straight wins since losing to Atlantic Shores back in September. Atlantic Shores finished with an 8-2 record with both losses against upper division teams.

Prospect Watch

Fernando Lewis finished the regular season four yards shy of 1000 gaining 996 yards with 14 touchdowns. He had 93 yards in the regular season matchup. Lewis has a big line to run behind with Jack Gorsline (6-foot-3, 280) and Tristan Taylor. Joseph Humphreys has played quarterback the final three games at quarterback while Daquon Frisby led the receiving core with 12 receptions. Trey Critides is also a playmaker on the outside. Critides was a 2-way performer leading the defense with 4.5 sacks while making 55 tackles. Senior Trayvon Johnson (6-foot-0, 217) recorded 46 stops and lineman Zach McLatchy adding 37 tackles including three for loss. DaQuon Frisby was a ball hawk in the secondary with seven interceptions and eight pass breakups while Lewis led the team with 10 pass defensed.

running back Brehon Britt is the star of the offense rushing for 1219 yards on 140 carries with 13 touchdowns. Quarterback Ryan Chamberlain ran for 460 yards while passing for 1271 yards and 23 touchdowns.

The Seahawks lost their top receiving threat when Aaron Ferguson was lost for the season. Ferguson had 33 receptions for 575 yards and seven touchdowns. Jordan Cannady has stepped in with 19 receptions for 316 yards and seven touchdowns.

Senior Noah Babcock (5-foot-10, 200) leads the stop unit. Senior Shawn Coleman is a solid tackler while Anthony Saady, Cory Goodhope, and Kelvin Watts provide size up front. Cannady is clutch in the defensive backfield.
