The outcome of Collegiate Woodberry Forest game would be decided by who had the ball last. T Brewer found K.J Rodgers for a 20-yard touchdown with only two seconds remaining on the clock to help Collegiate defeat Woodberry Forest 31-28. The Cougars drove 54 yards in the final minute to regain the lead after a back-and-forth 4th quarter that saw the lead change five times in the final 12 minutes.

Potomac School also scored a game-winning touchdown in the final seconds to defeat previously unbeaten St James 27-23 for their 3rd straight win. Tony Del Rosso scored a 6-yard touchdown with 44 seconds to go to give Potomac the lead. Quarterback Carter Bosch and Preston Bacon connected on three touchdown passes.

Flint Hill received 202 yards from Jordan Houston and two interceptions from Trey Rucker in their 49-6 rout over Sidwell Friends. The Huskies may be the best team in the Private ranks.

Benedictine lost to Georgetown Prep but Dillon Tennyson scored on a 66-yard touchdown reception from Jay Woolfolk. Tennyson finished with six receptions for 112 yards. Woolfolk passed for 183 yards while rushing for 63 yards.

Maryland commit Tyler Desue tossed four touchdown passes to help Bishop Sullivan defeat Canada Prep Academy 51-13. Virginia Tech commit Armani Chatman had two touchdown receptions while Ohio State commit Teredja Mitchell returned an interception 98 yards for a touchdown.

DaKendall James and Diondre Baker hooked up three times for touchdown passes as Portsmouth Christian routed Chincoteague 48-6. Baker passed for 283 yards and four touchdown passes while James caught seven passes for 179 yards and three scores. Isle of Wight received 232 yards rushing from Hunter Edwards in their 41-7 win over Broadwater Academy.

Episcopal led St Stephens-St Agnes 33-0 at halftime and they cruised to an easy 40-7 win. The Maroon improved to 2-2 behind quarterback Seth Agwunobi who passed for two touchdowns passes while running for another. He led the team with 67 yards rushing. Juanell Walker returned an interception for a touchdown Savion Phinizy and Sean Irons combined for 182 rushing yards but it wasn't enough as Paul VI lost to St Albans 17-16. The Panthers led 16-10 heading into the 4th quarter but they couldn't hold on to the lead.
