If the top seeds win, for example Lafayette as #1 east seed, do they play the winner of the 8/9 bracket or the lowest seed still alive- ie if all top seeds win except say the 7/10 with the #10 winning and they are the lowest seed left so they would play the #1 seed. Cannot remember if the brackets are fixed or fluid. Thanks

No re-seeding....the brackets are fixed.
the 1-16 winner will play the 8-9 winner and so forth until the cross bracket.
At the cross bracket the lower remaining West seed will travel to the highest remaining East seed and vice versa.

Thanks - I thought it went that way but reseeding would be best. That gives full weight to the higher seeds.

I disagree that reseeding would be the best. It should stay that way. You don't see the NCAA reseeding in their basketball brackets. Fixed is the way to go. If upsets happen, the good for the lower seeded team.

Reseeding should be done....yes it would give top seeds an advantage but it's that why they are seeded in the first place to have the home field advantage? And should a team get a home game when they finish 4-6 and happen to win one upset game? Of course not

They dont get a home game just because they pulled the upset. The higher seeded team in any game (except cross bracketing possibly) gets the home game. If #11 beats #6 and #14 beats #3 then the #11 seed hosts game
