The final 2 !! Both to me are a big surprise . Never would have picked eaither one before season started ! Props to both schools !

Me and Advocate text/talk on the regular about football year round and I told him after week 1 yall would be back. I didn't see a drop off at all, but you guys being from Appomattox is naturalt to be even keel and optimistic about your team. I text Advocate Thursday and told him R.E.LEE was the biggest threat left for Appomattox. The teams look so similar all the way down to the uniforms. I see a fast paced big play game and whoever can limit the big plays will win. Turnovers I think will happen on both sides because both defenses are physical and fast. Should be a great game. I'll take Appomattox off experience.
Kinda ironic R.E.LEE high school is playing Appomattox County where Lee surrendered. Off record but ironic.

2A game is always second game. They used to rotate them,but they stopped 8 or 10 years ago if my memory is correct.
It's a shame that you don't follow more closely when you post here all the time. Appomattox streak ended earlier in the year (sorry Appo fans, not taking a shot. I really wish you would have won that game, the guy posting from Heritage is TERRIBLE AND COCKY).
What is amazing to me is the fact that there is only a possibility of 3 teams finishing the season undefeated. Westfield, Highland Springs, and Louisa and 4 teams have a GREAT chance of 3 peating

I can't seem to find a 3rd undefeated team (unless you're counting the Springers - but they lost to Hermitage early in the season)

I knew it was a good chance as the offense was still there but it was the defense I was not sure about. The games were definitely tougher this yr as each playoff game had its own challenges. Now as RE Lee presents the Raiders with some new challenges I am excited to see how we prepare for them.

The Heritage game was too early in season. Still had to iron out kinks in D. Would love to see that game week 10. No doubt it would’ve still been close. There is a reason Heritage is in State game and its not ironic that they are only team to beat Appo.

It would have been nice for us to play Heritage later as have matured but then again they probably have as well. The same could be said for many games so not much need in thinking about it.Heritage's line I think was the difference. Davis is a horse and would still be hard to handle but we did correct some things defensively which may would have helped. Their line is I think, mostly upperclassmen and this should be their year to win it all as I hope they do- I want all of Central Virginia to do well.
R.E. Lee should be a challenge from what I am hearing from trustworthy folks on here. Should make for a good game although I like the boring ones with large scores for us .(only because it is easier on the ticker lol)
For our Raiders, we have one returning starter and a couple platooner's on the line this year these guys have gotten better and better every game. I think our guys just needed game time experience to get used to the speed of the game and what to do "on the fly" when things change quickly. FYI next year our lines, both offensively and defensively should be even better since we have so many Sophomores and Juniors either starting or platooning in. But we still have business left to finish this year. # Go Raiders!
