Looking at NOAA site and other sources, looks like 5+ inches of rain expected for much of Virginia starting Thursday into the weekend. How do you see this affecting most of the schedule? Will they play on a field that is soggy, or reschedule even if nothing is falling at game time? If there isn't lightening expected, will they play in the rain? Some schools in the western part of the state are closing early today due to flooding. Will Friday be a good mud bowl for the state, or move them for gate admissions increases next week?

Not sure where you are - in Fredericksburg it rained on Saturday, yesterday, today, and is supposed to rain the rest of the week through at least Saturday. If it's like this everywhere around - it's going to be saturated in the eastern part of the state. There is the front moving in from the west, and the tropical storm off the coast. Might not be much football played in the east.

I am sure all of us are wondering about how our teams will be impacted. Since some of us have closer connections than others, I would encourage those of you who are the tightest with any given school to reach out and keep others on here posted.

WP had a JV game against Msex on Monday that has been moved to Wednesday. Supposedly because Msex varsity is postponing Friday nights game to play Monday. Not sure why Msex varsity just doesn't move it up till tomorrow since everything is going be much worse on Monday

With the Gov. Declaring state of emergency I don 't see anybody playing Friday or Saturday.
