RE Lee vs Appomattox

I think Appomattox wins. This is their 3rd trip to Salem in 3 years. I have seen teams in state championship games "play not to lose rather than play to win". Some teams are too conservative their first time under the "bright lights".
I think it may be a dog fight but hope experience wins out. I know Appo has a lot of players still playing from 2015 and they find a way to win. Sometimes as Saturday it may not be pretty, but still "official".
Lee can score from anywhere on the field,but can they stop Appomattox enough times to win,that will be tough.
Appomattox has 4 kids over 300 pounds on there roster Evan my Redskins doesn’t have that many big people lol
Appo wins by a score of 30-24. Would I be shocked of Lee won? Not at all, but I think Appo wins it because they have been there and done that, and the moment will not be to Big for Lee, but it will be just big enough to give Appo a TD in separation. This is only my opinion on it. Anything can happen.
I think this game has the potential to be another blow out for Appo guys !! Lee has seen nothing like Appo alll year and take a look at the past two seasons , teams coming out of that side of the region , Goochland, buffalo gap , Clark co. as I recall were just out matched . So my call is Appo 42-21
Once again EH31, (who I think is a regular on the good ole Southwestern VA/WV Sports Board) who is yet ANOTHER bitter fan at the outcome. The Appo vs Union game is over. Appo won. Now....I know, your response will be the usual, "I'm really just truly concerned about the posters prediction of what he though the Union game would be and that's all." The answer is, no your not. Your actually NOT interested in the prediction and are trying again to get a rise out of posters. This thread is one of opinions. There's no right or wrong answer and it's simply who fans feel will win. Why dude? Why can you not just leave folks alone and let their picks be their picks? Are you really that bitter? Equally important, why not give your cwet iqb pick before cherrypicking one poster out of this thread and attempting to start an argument with another poster? I wondered if he picked Appomattox to blow out everyone or if he thought some games would be closer than others. That was where I was going with that, and since this board is about opinions and all I was trying to form my opinion on whether he was a blowhard or a prognosticator.
I'm not a bit bitter that Union didn't beat Appomattox. I was rooting for Union to win but I have no ties to them whatsoever. The first time I had even been to big stone gap was the week before when they whipped up on graham. Union had their chance to go up in the game against Appomattox and didn't. They lost so good for Appomattox and bad for Union, but I'm not sure why you think I would be upset over it?
I've been around here for more than a decade so I don't believe you can tell me to "go home". Sorry that I poke fun at the arrogance that some of your newfound friends' posts. I understand how that could hurt your feelings since you're trying to fit in and piggyback off the success that Appomattox have had the last three years. So keep typing novels that no one takes the time to fully read but keep in mind that Unlike 90% of this board I won't cry that you hurt my feelings. I love a good internet scuffle so you won't see me retreating anywhere.
But you did bring up one good point. We should take the winter off. So hurry up and write your 15,000 word reply so we can get back to basketball season in SWVA and that coastal town that no one can pronounce or spell.
1. You are not "curious." You are angry and bitter. You are mad people are picking Appo to win and call it arrogance. They have won two titles in a row and only a damn fool would pick against them. It's not arrogance, it's common sense.
2. I've been here a long time brother and there's no fitting in with me. I call it like I see it and have done so for years. LOL, there's no piggybacking off of Appo success with me "to fit in." Lol. I think that's another ole southern WV/SW VA board tactic....when someone agrees, "say they are fitting in." Or....when someone gives facts, "call it an essay" and follow that with a stupid emotional useless blurb and get applauded by the usual 3 or so suspects, and then agree how the ole mighty GMen are the "best in VA." 3. No need to take a shot at Poquoson. I see what you did there. As for "nobody being able to pronounce this coastal towns name" as you implied, I can see some difficulty in doing so in good ole Tazewell County. I wouldn't expect anything but a struggle. Now, let me get ready to go to work here at NASA, so my tax dollars can pay for your county to continue to keep your school system open and help fund all of the medical support for your chronic back pain and opioid use back in those there hills.
4. Union lost to Appo, it's over, now go back home and show them ole Lebanon and Marion fans what your made of in the ole SWVirginy Sports Board and let that awesome level of intellect shine for an audience of about 25 regulars and totally isolated from the rest of the world of which nobody outside of about 6 counties in SW VA cares or will ever see, and pat yourself on the back at your incredible wit.

No, arrogance is having a close game that wasn't decided until late in the 4th quarter and then coming back the next week and saying you'll blow out the best team from the east in the state championship.

I said I did want them to win because they beat Graham the week before. Didn't I read that you said that you wanted RE Lee to win vs Appomattox because they beat your boys? Same thing right?
Maybe I just imagined that when I was on one of my OxyContin binges that is sacred to 100% of the population west of Roanoke. If so, my apologies. It's hard being an uneducated drug addict like all of us down here in the sticks are.
This whole thing blew up because you and your new clique you're trying to pal around with got all up in arms because there was a thread that was posted that didn't have the #HashtagRaiders involved. The only person that I would be ok with being upset over that video was completely okay with it but you guys have kept crying all week over it. And I personally don't care what your reasoning is for the crying because it did NOT have anything to do with you.
So again, you want to keep saying this board is about opinions but whine about everyone that doesn't match up with yours. My opinions are that Appomattox has been a phenomenal team over the last 3 years, with a coach and a community outpouring that could be turned into a tear jerking Disney movie tomorrow. There's no reason why anyone should have any ill will against their team, because it seems that they do everything right and are genuinely great kids. My opinion on "a few" of their fans are they alienate the good will of the whole team with their arrogance and toddler attitudes. Again, that's not saying all of them are like that but one bad apple can ruin a bushel. Those generalizations are bad for the good fans I've interacted with and I understand why they'd be upset since it's Kind of how you just generalized that I was an uneducated opioid user because you've read about that being the case for some people in SWVA.
Another opinion I have is you keep whining for me and others to stay on that isolated SWVA that no one reads outside of 6 counties. Which is weird since you know so much about it and other people eastern from here have registered, posted, and constantly lurked. It almost seems like you're a little upset that you perceive someone has a club that you weren't invited in. Maybe you can start your own coastal board where I'm sure there would be SOOOOO much interaction. Another "unpopular" opinion of mine is - The Commonwealth of Virginia" does not end in Roanoke county. I get income taxes held out of my check the same as you or anyone else. I actually get more withheld since I work in WV as well as VA, but that's a different story.
So those are MY opinions. You can take them, leave them, or shove them. Whatever you choose won't change them. I'll still be here when the sun comes up tomorrow congratulating RE Lee or Appomattox on their state championship victory. So you can insinuate all you want for me and others to leave a VIRGINIA message board, but as a citizen of VA and the good ole USA I don't think I will obey you Adolph.
**** sorry for the long post to 99% of people here that I know HATE long unnecessary posts. Truth is, I'm proud of myself. I didn't know I was capable of typing this many words. I thought only easterners could do that. Maybe there's hope for me to go to drug rehab and get my GED after all.

Shush. There is no way to take you with any seriousness. I just hope your back pain improves. All people should be posting, but posting about the final two, and you folks from Southwest Va can't let it go. You aren't here to post about the final two, you are here to try and attempt to argue the outcome and somehow redo the outcome of Appo vs Union, and no matter how hard to try, you can't do that.
