I was told by an AD and a head coach that the east and west teams will cross bracket in the Region semis. Higher seeded team will host in semis. Championship host site to be determined

If that's the case you might get your Randolph-Henry vs Greensville regional final - I think you had mentioned that you thought the top two teams in the region were in the same half of the bracket. - this way they're not if it's cross bracketing.

Watched Poquoson's Fan drop 40 on Goochland last night...she can shoot or drive...what do you know about Greensville, vtnick17?

I know they are usually very athletic. Don't see them as often since we are no longer in the Southside District.

The Maggie Walker girls were a #1 seed - were they over seeded from a weaker district?

Looking at the school's in their district, I wouldn't say they are in a weak district. They play mostly 3, 4, and 5a schools in Richmond. I'm not sure how they are in girl's basketball, but they have teams like Mills Godwin, John Marshall, Douglas Freeman, Deep Run, etc. Maybe Bruton's district is strong in girl's basketball this year and they were underseeded.

They are the only 2A team in their district.
