Certainly shows the hige schedule that Fort has played. They have lost 2 straight, while SD has won both, and beat FD and are now tied.

A couple HUGE games coming next week.

#1 Strasburg at #3 Clarke County
#2 Riverheads at #5 Stuarts Draft
#4 Buckingham has a makeup game with # 4 Region A Lunenburg on Tuesday

I have never tried to calculate these things and I admire those of you that do. So here is my question.....can we pretty much assume that the Clarke/Strasburg winner will get the number one seed if they should win out and that the Riverheads/Stuarts Draft winner might be a likely number two?

No

Its certainly not a sure thing, as Strasburg is not much above Riverheads right now, and should RH and SB win out, its likely Strasburg is ahead, but not a sure thing. And Clarke should they win out is already behind Riverheads.

As for SD if they win out, in the surface without looking further they are quite a bit behind RH right now and may not pass them. They may or may not.

Could be wrong but doesn't the bull run regular season winner get the higher seed in the playoffs despite the power points? I think it was changed a few years back after CC won the district but Central finished higher in power points forcing CC to have to go to Draft in the semis of the region

O okay wasn't sure
The thing that changed it was more Shenandoah teams moving into the Region as well as that situation. Before, the BR had such a voting advantage. But once it effected a team, it changed, as well as a bit more diversity in the region.

Like you mentioned CC, so it effected them, and it also could/would effect the others not in BR. I will give an example now which would effect all involved (since it won't happen). Say CW won the district this year, they would be the highest BR team with that way it was done that 1 year, but then all the other schools would be seeded below them in the Ratings, so right now the Top 8 would be 1. Riverheads 2. Buckingham 3. Stuarts Draft 4. Fort Defiance 5. Central 6. Strasburg 7. Clarke 8. Madison if I remember correctly. The district win didn't make the the Top seeded team, just the highest seeded team in the BR, so they were seeded in the order they finished in district, the others went by ratings, so since CW is behind the others, that is how it would be seeded. Sorry that didn't show it effecting everyone, but easiest one to explain ha
