Region C

Grayson has beat them once and can do so again.....also Floyd and Radford have that capability. I think it is Chilhowies to lose but dont be surprised if an upset occurs........really at this time of year it is all about who pitching holds up. Sheets for Chilhowie has been pretty shaky at times this year. I dont think there is a true 'ace" out there.
Just an opinion

Is the Three Rivers District down alot this year. Saw that Floyd won the district with a 9-1 district record. They are not known as a baseball school. Is this a fluke. Also Giles is near the bottom of the district. Whats up with that. Radford and Glenvar always seem to be in the region talk. Is there any pitching in this district???

Grayson can keep up with Chilhowie. Didn't they beat them once this year?

I think Radford beat Grayson and so did Floyd. I don't know what pitchers each team was throwing on those occasions. But I think Grayson could keep up with Chilhowie.

Glenvar pitching

Based on what I read this week, Glenvar seems to have some really good pitching. In the district tournament they won 8-1 and 3-1. Three pitchers (Steel, Crockett, Fox) combined on a two-hitter in the semi-final game and Duncan threw a four-hitter in the championship game. Duncan is a freshman and I think Steel and Fox are just sophomores.
