Thoughts.

I'm thinking Ridgeview will be too physical for Virginia High. V-High has a speed advantage, but the lineplay and V-High's QB going down to injury (broken leg) against Lee Co. will be too much for the Cats to overcome.

I'll say Ridgeview 42 - V-High 21

Graham is big, physical and fast and just has too much talent on both sides of the ball for Gate City. Gate City has had sort of a Jeckyll and Hyde season, one week playing well, the next week not so well. They are young and have a bright future, but are not ready for what they are getting ready to face in a Graham team that is coming together in all phases of the game at the right time. Coach Palmer, I'm sure will let the current G-men know about he embarrassing rout the G-men took at the hands of Gate City the last time these two met in the playoffs in 2014. 70-0.

I'll say Graham 56 - Gate City 14.

I would say RV has the speed to match up with VHS. Beavers is one of the fastest kids in SWVA. I would expect RV to beat them by 28 or more, not even a close matchup.

The Graham vs Gate City game will be fun to watch for about 10 minutes...it that long. From that point on the points will rain for Graham.

2014, 70-0 GC over Graham was the worst loss in Graham High Football history, and the last time GC and Graham played. The GMen are about to unload on GC.
Jones was a big loss to VH. I’d put him up there with O’Quinn as far as QB skills. The backup came in & did a great job. I hope the Bearcats can make a game of it but I’m afraid without Jones on both sides of the ball, Ridgeview rolls.
As far as GC vs Graham, I hope the GMen come focused and ready to play ball! Last week, we had several miss cues & players not reading keys. Hopefully, that gets cleaned up this week and GMen can pull the win!
