Region I Top District Teams

In the Bay Rivers District Lafayette (10-3) 10-4 is tied with York (9-3) 10-4; Lafayette beat York in their first meeting 10-9. They play again on May 10 at York. Tied for third is New Kent (10-4) 12-4, Warhill (9-4) 9-4 and Grafton (6-4) 7-7. New Kent split with Lafayette and has loss to York and Warhill. Warhill beat Lafayette back on March 27 5-3. In the Southside District Southampton (7-0) 9-0 has a three game lead over Greensville Co. (1-3) 6-5 and Brunswick (1-3) 3-8. And in the Battlefield District Eastern View (7-0 11-2 has a one game lead over Culpeper (6-1) 8-1. If any of these records are not right please post it

New Kent,Warhill and Grafton all have four losses. In the Southside District Southampton is way out in front with a three game lead over Greensville (1-3) 6-5 and Brunswick (1-3) 3-8. In the Battlefield District Eastern View (7-0) 11-2 has a one game lead over Culpeper (5-1) 7-1. If anybody see's any records or anything else that's not right let me know. The over all records for New Kent 10-4, Warhill 9-4 and Grafton 7-7. I do not know how many team's get into the Region I tournament.

It is my thought that Bay Rivers and Battlefield send 3 and southside sends 2 for regionals. not 100% sure on that though.

Eastern View beat Lafayette and Tabb I believe earlier in the year.
