Region IV Predictions

I will be very surprised if both Cave Spring and Hidden Valley don't win in 3 straight games on Thursday night. Patrick County and Tunstall are both solid teams who have had very good seasons but the Piedmont District and the Southwestern District just can't compare with the top-to-bottom competitiveness of the River Ridge District.

CS & HV both win in 3 easy games

As expected, neither team was pushed much at all tonight. CS beat Patrick County 25-14, 25-13, 25-14 and HV beat Tunstall 25-11, 25-6, 25-18. These scores are from memory so they may be off by a few points. Cave Spring and Hidden Valley play each other in the Region IV final on Saturday. This will be their 4th time playing each other in the last month or so and the 3rd straight time they played on HV's home court. Good luck to both teams on Saturday and in next week's state tournament.
