I'm really looking forward to this weeks game against Honaker. They are young, but have some talent and as Ryan said, it depends on how fast the young players grow up and the game slows down for them.
I think this Richlands team is a bad matchup for this years Tigers. This is one of the best set of receivers the Blues have had and a left handed QB that can sling it. We have a very good O line with the potential to be great as the season goes on depending on how quickly the 2 new starters come along.
This game will depend on whether Honaker can put any pressure on the blues QB. If he gets the time, he will pick them apart, but if they are able to put good pressure on him, it may make it a bit more interesting..........at least for a while.
The Blues are extremely deep also so they don't lose a lot when they bring in the 2nd stringers, and that is where I think that Honaker is at a big disadvantage.
It's also going to depend on what coach Mance wants to show and work on. He may want to work more on the running game in this game since he didn't get to as much in the jamboree.
It will be a big crowd, there are a lot of family's that have ties to both sides...........like myself. I played for and graduated from Richlands and my wife graduated and now teaches in the Honaker area. Suffice to say that I will be sitting on one side and my wife on the other.....lol
