Except for 5A, 3A boasts the most Richmond Region schools still in the playoff picture with four! As of right now, these are your matchups with two weeks left in the regular season mind you...

#5 Colonial Heights at #4 York
#8 Spotsylvania at #1 Hopewell
#7 Armstrong at #2 James Monroe
#6 Petersburg at #3 Skyline

Colonial Heights has held strong in the 5 spot for three weeks now whereas that first week the ratings came out they were in the 8th spot.

Armstrong has slipped since where they they began four weeks ago in the 5th seed... They held there for two weeks and the past two weeks they have been in the 7 spot.

Petersburg has ping ponged from 6th to 7th over the last four weeks.

Hopewell on the other hand has been on the climb starting as a 3rd seed four weeks ago and this week capturing the top spot...

So the big question is where will these teams land when it's all said and done?

Colonial Heights is on the road at Matoaca this week and then hosts Petersburg in the finale. Beating the Warriors might be a tall order but the Wave is another story. If the Colonials can beat Petersburg, they should remain in the 5 spot but two more losses and they might slip a spot.

Armstrong is in trouble, they have Hanover this week and Atlee the following week and if John Marshall can get a win in their two remaining games(Deep Run and Mills Godwin) it is entirely possible that Armstrong will be out and John Marshall will be in. They will be a team to watch over the next two weeks.

Hopewell has a tough one against Thomas Dale this week and follows that up with Prince George in the finale. Even going 1-1 the Blue Devils should be able to retain that top spot which would be huge for the Blue Devils in the playoffs.

Petersburg hosts Dinwiddie this week and then goes on the road to Colonial Heights next week. Going 1-1 should be enough to retain their position in the playoffs but two losses could mean trouble.
