You may be on to something with the Petersburg vs. PG game. Thought about going that way myself. Should be a close game.

I'm not really playing, but here's the computer's picks:
TJ 25-21 over GA (This one will probably be a lot of fun)
Var 46-10 over Arm (What in the world happened at Armstrong this year?)
Man 46-16 over CH (Clover Hill outclassed in this one)
Cosby 34-23 of JR (Battle for fourth best team in district)
Din 48-6 over CH (Colonials can't hang with a mediocre Dinwiddie squad)
DF 39-3 over DR (Freeman good enough to have some hope of winning district)
LCB 100-0 over GW (first time ever my computer has picked a team to win by 100 or more--I don't expect this to happen, because Bedwell wouldn't let it).
HS 34-3 over Hen (Springers have passed Bird in Gilliam Ratings)
JRT 34-23 over JM (Tucker not great, but better than Justices)
LD 23-21 over Han (best game of week)
Mat 38-37 (OT) over Hope (ok, this is the best game of week)
TD 23-12 over Mead (TD is going to make a deep playoff run in 6A-they are quietly putting together a great season)
Herm 50-3 over MG (bring a book to this game)
Monacan 51-8 over Midlo (Monacan wins battle of the rich kids--that's what we called when I was in high school)
Atlee 36-30 over PH (Raiders need this one to salvage season)
Petersburg 28-27 over PG (A bounce of the ball could decide this one--Crimson Wave probably has more to play for right now).

Computer so far this year for all VHSL games:

0-1 Week 0
74-32 Week 1
91-43 Week 2
106-26 Week 3
100-29 Week 4
118-19 Week 5
99-23 Week 6
125-20 Week 7
123-20 Week 8

80% on year
83% since week 3 (when I tell people to start believing in ratings)
85% since week 5 (actually a little better than usual-computer usually settles in hitting around 83% down the line).

Anticipated Record this week (yes computer can make a prediction about how good its predictions are): 122-22. This would be 85%

Next year you should compete with us. Like the comments to your picks.

Give it a go next year. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Since it's all for fun anyway, I would like to see you use nothing but your computer pics from the start, to demonstrate how accumulated information changes the pics week by week.

I know this information on your site anyway, but it would be interesting for us to just view the Richmond area games. And it also may send you a little more traffic.
