The state semifinals in boys and girls basketball will return to the Siegel Center in 2015 after a one-year absence.
In 2014, as part of the VHSL's realignment, state semifinal games were moved to different locations across the state, including James Madison University, Fairfax and Old Dominion. The Siegel Center had hosted every semifinal and final for the past 10 years.
In 2015;
The semifinals and finals for Groups 1A, 2A, and 3A will be held at the beginning of the week.
The semifinals and finals for 4A, 5A, and 6A will be held at the end of the week.
In previous years, all semifinals were played before the finals.
