The Dogwood District website says that WC will host Riverheads (boys) on Tuesday. So I assume that to mean that they finished in the fourth spot and Riverheads fifth. Can anyone confirm that? RHS fans of course had hoped that ending the season with three straight wins, including one on the road over the number one seed Buffalo Gap, would be enough to keep them in the number four spot and earn a home game.
And as for the girls, it also appears that Altavista has edged out Riverheads for the number one seed. If that is accurate, then each will get a first round bye and they will swing into action Wednesday on their respective home courts against teams that come out of the 3/6 and 4/5 quarterfinal games.
