Riverheads looked very good last night you could say it was a statement game but with the Jenkins kid not playing I will not because one person don't make team but he does make them better offensively and defensively. From game one until last night Riverheads is better in all phases of game.

The Lee O this week will be another test all together. Not discounting their D but they don't rely on that to win generally. Lee has athletes all over the field and you can't focus on just one. High scoring with quick strike ability. We will get an even clearer picture of how far this team has progressed.
Not sure if Jenkins would have changed the outcome but I have to believe that he would impacted the margin. I do like the way Yowell plays the game and Luray will be a player when the post season starts. They still have two impact games for the district as well with Draft and East Rock on the horizon.
As someone in another thread mentioned, seeing high school football in other states for the most part just doesn't compare to seeing it in VA and I would say in the Shenandoah district. Atmosphere is almost always electric with that hometown throwback feel.
