Rocktown High Schools Announces Coach for Girls Basketball
The newest coaches to join the lineup is Eric Payne for girls basketball.Coach Payne began coaching women’s basketball in the 1980s and became an assistant coach at Eastern Mennonite University in 2003, where he led the women’s team to an appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
Payne also led EMU to the Sweet Sixteen round in 2004 and captured an ODAC championship. He has also coached at Fort Defiance High School, Staunton High School and most recently Bath County High School.
