RE: James Madison @ South Lakes. Per TheDeathPenalty's comment, South Lake's loss was Centreville, a common opponent...another write up says that they held Seahawk RB Spencer Alston to 58 yards and that they scored 17 points in the second half.
Madison played Centreville the last two weeks, lost the first game 31-7, the score was 10-7 at half and the Warhawks had three mistakes directly result in Wildcat touchdowns...second game, again evenly matched (really, the Madison team that played Westfield to a 10-6 loss)...just that the Warhawks had the ball at the end of the game with a "Wow" 4th and 5, 30 yard touchdown pass.
I don't know much about South Lakes this year outside of Alston, they have some speed, but gather their QB is pretty good (Q: is Mensah injured?). Madison is very quick to the ball and hard hitting on defense with a very well coached O-line. It will be an interesting game to be sure and will really come down to which team's conditioning is better.
P.S. *Madison will be without their #1 running back Casey Koshuta who reinjured his knee in the first Madison/Cville game...didn't slow them down much with Jr. Brandon Walker in the backfield.
P.P.S. I don't make picks for teams I support...recovering Cubs fan...
