Rustburg @ Heritage

If the playoffs started today both teams would make it.

The Red Devils travel to City Stadium tonight in search of a win to avoid a 3 game skid after losing 2 tough games to Brookville and Jefferson Forest. A win would be a great way to get back on track and prepare for Amherst.

Heritage put up big numbers last week but doesn't seem to be the team we've seen in recent years. A loss could be detrimental to this team and could probably seal their fate as they still have a tough game or two ahead of them.

Rustburg should handle them in defense and light the scoreboard up as #7 has been on a roll and consistently improving his passing game. Usually a close good game between these two but I have Rustburg winning 35-13 going into their bye.

Heritage has had an uncharacteristic year thus far. In Bradley's first 3 years they were 33-6, this year @ 2-4 they've lost nearly as many games in a little over half a year as they did in the previous 3 yrs combined. It's obvious they aren't in the upper echelon of the Seminole as they are accustomed to be, but their 4 losses this year are to teams with a combined record of 23-3. With Rustburg, Amherst, EC Glass, and Liberty left to play getting to .500 will be a mighty challenge. I think they will still make the playoffs at 4-6.

I think they make playoffs as well. 4-6 is usually enough in 3A west. But I think they will finish at .500 with wins against Liberty & Glass as long as they can put points up against those two.

They are 2-4, would need 3 wins to go 5-5. Don't think they will beat Rustburg or Amherst.

My bad forgot that lol but they always play close with Amherst... I'm not saying last week was a fluke for Amherst but I just don't how the Bees gave up so many points at the end. Amherst is good but I think Heritage could beat them. Depends on how they play tonight.
