A lot of ifs for the rest of Class 6, Reg A. Down here in the 757, Landstown vs Princess Anne & Western Branch vs Hickory & Tallwood vs Kellam are too close to call. Expect Grassfield to lose vs Smith but they should beat King's Fork.

Franklin Co. Plays Lord Botetourt Friday then Finishes with W. Fleming. Winning out would make things VERY interesting as they'll get some nice bonus points. Could they even take over the #1 seed??? Wow, everyone's nightmare scenario, right?

I believe the Oscar Smith vs John Bosco game is not counted for or against the schedule power points by VHSL.

VHSL Rules Handbook....
68-4-6 (2) When the Rating Scale is used to designate teams for championship playoffs,
only games between members of the Virginia High School League, other public schools and
non-public Virginia schools shall be counted.

Additionally, Western Branch and Thomas Dale lost to Class 4 Schools! so, that gave them only 10 points vs 26 if they had won. They will also only get 1 bonus point for each of their opponent's wins.

Similarly, Ocean Lakes and Manchester lost to a Class 5 school. So they only received 12 points for their loss. They will also only get 1 bonus point for each of their opponent's wins.

Smith's schedule finishes out brutal. King's Fork, Western Branch & finishing up with Phoebus. The Tigers are capable of pulling off wins vs them but 2 of those teams are capable of playing in state final games! Friday's KF game will likely set the tone for the rest of the season IMHO.

Story for me is Franklin Co. at #4.. If they stay in this slot, a team from the 804/757 area is heading west for a long road trip. The Eagles vs Lord Botetourt might put them into the mix to host a couple games in Rocky Mount with a win!!

well they are now in Class 5; Region C.
Deep Run has the second highest enrollment in Henrico county only a few students less than Highland Springs. Glennallen only has 15 less than Deep Run,from what my friend at the county has told me. That’s why all three of those had to move up to division six…..where they belong now
