Salem looked good offensively, but hard to tell against C-ville defense. Ramsey ran wild. Don't know final stats but he had a whole lot of yards and tds. Salem's defense still suspect. Played the run quite well, but C-ville receivers were running wide open. Linebackers still get beat badly on play action and defensive backs blew some coverages. Salem kicker did not play in first half. If they were better defensively they might win it again, but if frogs had wings they wouldn't bump their butts on the ground. Still a very very dangerous team. PS Ramsey did not play one down on defense

Worst secondary in Salem history.
Cville couldn't come close to stopping Ramsey. Poor Gladden should have had about 6 TD passes.

Thought it would be strength before season. But get fooled badly on play action, blow coverages, and have poor ball skills. Last two Salem teams would have beaten this C-ville team 70- 14, 70-7
It wasn't all on the secondary. One play was a linebacker getting beat by a running back. Another play was a good one-handed catch against pretty good coverage but one was a flat out bush by the corner/safety. These were in the first half, not sure what happened in the 2nd.
Season long pattern, though. Bburg, Dinwiddie got it when they needed it, if Cburg had a WR that could catch they'd have had similar #s to tonight and of course the PH game. Secondary is unreal levels of bad.
