Nothing too mindblowing here although there's a hell of a catch in the middle and the last TD was a great hustle play by Tucker but worth seeing.

Salem won the yardage about 330 to 220. 15 FD to 9. Claybourne averaged 9.5 yards a pop(13 for 122 and 3 TD), Ramsey did the yeoman work for 4ypc(23 for 79 and 1 TD). Beckley went 10/11 for 126, 1 TD 1 INT. Tucker caught 5 passes for 77 yards and a TD. Penalties not a factor at all(2 for 10 Salem, 1 for 5 Champe), TO battle was even at 1 each.

Just from those select highlights, clear to see Salem dominated in the trenches. Saw numerous Champe DL 10 yards downfield with their back turned just getting mauled up front. Salem, may very well be better this year than last year. I certainly like the offense more as Beckley is much more mobile than last years QB which will be helpful and Tucker is just going to be special, if he can grow a few more inches, he's FBS for sure, his height may keep him at FCS though. I may have to come home and catch the Salem-JF game. Hope they keep it at JF, those kids deserve it. Going to be a great game, good luck to your Spartans.
