Defeated Pulaski 27-0 . Pulaski finishes 9-1.
Quite an accomplishment for Salem since so many freshman and sophomores are playing on the varsity. The Spartans could be reloading.

How many years has Salem's JV and middle school teams finished undefeated? It just seems like this is an every year occurrence.

Salem whipped em. PC playing 3 games in seven days didn’t favor the cougars. Especially ending with Salem. All credit to Salem though.

All the time. They'll add a loss here or there but it's far more rare than at varsity. Couldn't say for sure but I wouldn't be surprised if JV has more perfect seasons than seasons with a loss in the last 20 or so years.

It takes a group of athletes and a strong core to have a potentially great HS football team at Salem. The JV squad rolled through the season, despite not having a number of Freshman and Sophmores. This is the core. When you combine the core with the Jimmy’s and the Joe’s playing varsity as Freshman and Sophs, here comes the potential for a reload.

All JV teams play without freshmen and sophomores, not just Salem. Pulaski Co starts 3 sophomores on the O line. 2 at linebacker a tailback and a backup QB. Also some on the D line and secondary. Pc is a very young team.

True, but I’m talking about Salem. It’s tough to play at Salem. Some of the JV teams we play have 8th graders. My point was that our 9th and 10th graders playing full time varsity, look like Saturday guys at the next level.
