Glenvar Highlanders Division 2 State Champs
This all happened in a small city of 25000 , a bedroom community surrounding and intertwined with Roanoke, Va . Glenvar used to be a part of Salem High School until politics broke it up and the kids play in the same rec league .
The city motto of Salem is kids first as seen on its charter . By praising Salem I am not downgrading any other communities but I will remind us all on this board that to be respectful and understand that all of these kids are not division one or even two and need to have other things to fall back on like education, manhood, work ethic and other important areas . And also, as I write these words I am reminding myself so this is not a arrogant post . Lets have some fun and hopefully will be a good year and we all learn something from it.
