It only happens about once a season, but this coming weekend, our state's three biggest programs are going to be nice enough to align their games for us, so that if one chooses, one can turn on the TV at noon, see all three one right after the other, and call it a night around 11:00. I am sure it happens by coincidence more than anything else but thanks anyway.

The Wahoos will start things off with a 12:20 kickoff at NC State. Prior to the Hoos' win over Louisville, I would not have given them much of a chance in this one but now they might. (And by the way I am saying that not even knowing how the Pack fared at Marshall last night.) The result may depend on whether the Cavaliers come out flat after winning their ACC opener.

JMU then plays at Richmond at 3:00. There will be a slight overlap there in the timing of the games, but that will be OK. That is a big rivalry series that has seen some wild ones over the years, so you can expect anything but I assume the Dukes will be OK.

Then at 7:00 the Hokies will be at Duke. I have not even followed the Dookies this year so I couldn't tell you if they are 4-0 or 0-4, but it stands to reason that the Hokies will be mad after Saturday night and determined not to lay another egg.

Three wins would be nice for the Commonwealth but I don't see it happening. But I am giving you this tip so you can have the entire week to plan your schedule and get all those honeydo jobs out of the way by Friday!

Sorry to have posted this on the 1-A board where it might be missed by some of our readers. I guess I did it because that is where I was at the time. If our moderator has the ability to move it or duplicate it on another forum, that would be appreciated.
