Scrimmages anyone?

Watched a 3 team scrimmage this morning. None are my team. It was local and I had time to kill. Eastern Montgomery/Randolph Henry/Auburn. Despite only having about 19 players dressed, RH probably the better overall squad. Way more size than EM and Auburn. Auburn only had 18 dressed, but was impressed with their offensive play calls. Looks like a good young coach there. If he can get some participation numbers up there. Not much talent at EM. Could be a long year for them.
I watched some of a 4 team scrimmage with Brunswick, Amelia, Essex, and Prince Edward. All teams have solid numbers and it was good to see the young men out there.
Essex is aggressive and reacts quickly on defense, and has an explosive offense that should create big plays in the running and passing game.
Brunswick has a strong secondary and speedy receivers that can take it the distance on any play.
Amelia has athletic players upfront and a tough running game that should open up passing opportunities for their play makers.
Prince Edward has good size and they looked strong and well conditioned.

Riverheads looked pretty good vs turner Ashby, 3 tds in the first 5 plays, all the tds we're over 50 yards, triple c and Luke Bryant will be the 2 studs in riverheads offense this year, GO BIG RED
