Seating Capacity for Clarke?

Unless the bandwagon has filled up, Lee does not travel with a huge crowd. Now if you are looking ahead to a potential Richlands game. Get some more seating and make sure the concession stand is prepared. They will out number the Clarke fans guaranteed (that is if it happens). Great fan base. Lots of football before that happens though.
No, most of the old-timers stand anyway!
Why is that? I never understood the allure of standing at the fence with all the players blocking your view.
I think a lot of the older fans stand because it is easier on their backs than sitting on a cold bleacher for two hours. Baseball fans seem to have bought into bringing the portable seats with backs but you see less of those at football games
Most like to shoot the breeze during the game. Standing makes that more user friendly.I guess I am a old timer.LOL!
I can't speak for all the others that stand but we have a sideline "crew" that meet up every Friday night at the 20. And normally it doesn't matter if it's at home or away that's where you find us. Anything from the latest rumors on these boards to deer hunting tales. And of course the "scouting report" for our opponent on that night, lol. We have been accused of being a little over zealous (I think VAPreps Rod was witness to this last year) but it's usually just us cheering on our team. Something about being at field level just seems right, and we aren't all "old timers".
