Huge win for the Lady Cavs over perennial class 3 power, New Kent. NK came into the game, 6-1, led by UVA signee Hannah Tober, but KW dominated. They scored 5 runs alone in the 4th inning. Olivia Unser paced KW with 3 hits, while Annabelle Townsend had 2 big RBIs to open the game up in the 4th. Jillian Smith added a 2 run HR in the 6th, and on the mound, she scattered 4 hits. KW is now 5-0 on the season. They open district play against West Point tomorrow, then play class 4 teams, Caroline and Mechanicsville next week
