Well played game, that will only help both teams as the postseason begins. UVA commit Hannah Tober hit a 2 run single in the bottom of the 3rd and that was all the runs the Trojans needed. JMU signee Taylor Johnson lead KW with 9Ks and 3B Jillian Smith hit a HR for KW. KW now plays the regional quarterfinals, which I'm now seeing will be on Wednesday, to avoid the possibility of rain on Thursday. KW looks to advance out of a very tough Region A and return to the state tournament, while New Kent will be in the mix in Class 3.
