The Thursday Harrisonburg paper had some detailed statistics for all three districts that they cover.........Valley, Shenandoah, and Bull Run. Being most interested of course in Riverheads' stats, I can report the following:
1) Quarterback Bennett Dunlap has completed 67 % of his passes on the season (17 out of 28.)
2) Three different receivers have averaged over 20 yards per reception and one of them is averaging 74 yards per catch. (Oh alright, so what if it was only ONE catch???)
3) Three running backs are averaging over 10 yards per carry and a fourth one is just under 6 yards per carry.
4) This column did not give any scoring totals but I believe I have read somewhere else that Cayden Cook-Cash is about a touchdown or so ahead of Waynesboro's Ryan Barbour.
