South Lakes completely shut down the Lake Braddock rushing game. Westfield depends heavily on being able to grind down teams and run the ball to setup their play action passing attack. My gut says that South Lakes will be successful against their running game. Not sure about stopping their passing game but Westfield is very streaky in this area. They tend to keep trying to get the ball to the same wideout all game. If SL can double cover him while stopping the Westfield run game, I give them the edge.
So, I am skeptical about a repeat of the 2015 rematch. As much as I'd like to see a better Smith team meet a weaker Westfield team, I don't think it'll happen.
