St Stephens St Agnes celebrated their homecoming with a 34-6 win over city rival Bishop Ireton. The Saints built a 27-0 halftime lead and scored on their first possession of the 2nd half to build a commanding lead midway thru the 3rd quarter.

Sophomore quarterback Tison Hill led the game-opening scoring drive by completing 4-of-4 passes for 60 yards including a 19-yard pass to a wide open Malik Baker. Hill led the Saints on an 11-play 87-yard scoring drive. He connected on a 35-yard reception to the Cardinals seven yard line. Lamumba Howard covered the final seven yards with a touchdown run.

Hill extended an 85-yard scoring drive with a 27-yard run on a fake punt. Baker ended the drive after catching a 19 yard pass from sophomore quarterback Rob Montgomery.

Hill finished the game with 164 yards passing and 74 yards rushing. On defense, Hill broke up four passes from the safety position. Lamumba Howard also had a big game with a touchdown run, a batted pass, and a blocked punt which setup a 1st-and-goal at the Cardinals 5-yard line.

Bishop Ireton was limited to only 28 yards on the ground after falling behind. A quarterback sneak by quarterback Jack Esquivel was the Cardinals only points. Esquivel finished 13 of 34 passing for 177 yards.
