St Anne's-Belfield entered the game with a 40 point average margin of victory and they did nothing to endanger that number with a 61-6 win over Nansemond-Suffolk. The teams were ranked 2nd and 3rd in the latest VISAA D2 rankings
but the Saints totally dominated all three phases of offense, defense, and special teams as they improved to 4-1 on the season.

Nansemond-Suffolk took the opening kickoff and drove all the way to the St Anne's-Belfield 10-yard line but Kareem Johnson stepped in front of a pass and returned it 95-yards the other way for a touchdown to give St Anne's-Belfield a 7-0 lead.

Johnson would have a big night. He caught three passes including a 9-yard touchdown to give St Anne's-Belfield a 15-0 lead with 3:30 to go in the 1st quarter. He also returned a punt 40-yards for a score giving him a touchdown on offense, defense, and special teams.

The St Anne's-Belfield defense jumped into the scoring spree with 14 points off of two touchdowns and a safety. John Woodson ripped the ball out of the quarterbacks hands and traveled 60-yards for another touchdown. Minor Smith led the Saints with seven tackles and Jake Allen added six.

The offense racked up 376 yards total offense. Quarterback Lee Parkhill was 9 of 16 passing for 177 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Jake Allen caught two passes for 69 yards and he had a 1-yard touchdown run. The Saints broke two long touchdown runs with the game out of reach. Jamil Wilson broke thru for a 63-yard touchdown run and DeeJay Anderson ended the scoring with a 68-yard run.
