Does anyone know where to find the stats.for.the regular season? Especially for the skill positions. Thanks.

Thanks was just wanting to compare stats with some locals. I tried looking for conference stats and swva stats but still can't find anything but what Roanoke times has.

If you could find a link to swva. Have a kid that's 50-60 yards away from breaking the school record I think. Just wanting to see how he matches up. Oh and yes Richland's Ryan we are at Richland's this week.

There's not a link, but they post the stats for individual players in the districts in the Bristol Hearld.

So your kid is at Grayson? I'm assuming Lundy, correct? Looking forward to having you guys down this week.

I actually have two in the team. My other son is nose. You guys are not who I was hoping to see first round. Was hoping for Giles James river or rematch with Glenvar. We should have beat Glenvar the first time. I'll have on my Phillips stuff come look me up.

Here are some Richlands stats.

RB Nick Blankenship had 1,392 yards with 21 touchdowns.

QB John Luke Asbury finished with 2,275 yards 36 TDs and 5 INTs.

Don't have receiving yards, but I have TD catches for Richlands players.

Cody Howie 11 TD receptions.
Scottie Ball 8 TD
Austin Atkinson 8 TD
Chase Collins 4 TD
Luke Phillips 3 TD
Bryce Farris 1 TD
Landon Lowe 1 T

Howie and Atkinson both have multiple punt/kick return touchdowns. And Atkinson had 8 INTs I believe and at least 2 or 3 returned for TD.

Hope that helps.

I like to know how you should've beaten Glenvar when Grayson never scored?

Grayson was in the red zone 4 times in that game. Glenvar only scored 6 points on us until late in the 3rd quarter. That's when you could tell they had given up. The last TD for Glenvar was a trash TD when the coach put in subs letting them get some play time. Play calling killed us too. Our best wr only had one catch for 38 yds. And he wasnt shut down only 3 plays specifically called for him all night. So yeah.

So let's see here. Grayson was down 13-0 and your coach put subs in? Why? Doesnt make sense. Your leading receiver only get 3 plays and only has 38 yards? Do you think defense played a part in this? Your QB was under distressed all night. This could be the reason why this reciever only had 38 yards. Why didn't Grayson score in the red zone 4 times? You contribute this to play calling?

Mostly yes. Came in with the same game plan last year. Except there was only 1 play called for him last year. Last year that team dominated Grayson and I mean dominated! This year not so much. The other receiver had almost 100 so ??? yes late in the game he subbed. Why not. I don't know? Graham and Galax came in and beat us good. Especially Graham. But with a different game plan we should have beat Glenvar. Just better be glad you guys played Galax early they would beat Glenvar fairly decisively now. But good luck in the playoffs.

You don't think Glenvar is better now? Every team suppose to improve as the season progress.
First, I'm not trying to down play Grayson County school system, but I really do hope you guys can recover from the recent incident in the news. I've seen it close up no scoreboard, no water, or paper towels to wash your hands in the bathroom. I hope they prosecute the offenders to the highest. It's not fair to the kids or the community.

This as always is just my opinion. No I don't feel Glenvar is as good as they were last year. But as a fan of GC I have seen 2 state championship seasons end in losses to mediocre teams who get stomped in the next round. But now I have a stake in the game. Never do I take anything away from the players of opposing teams and always pray for no injuries for either team. I love high school ball. Watched Glenvar and Wilson play in the state final last year had two of my football cp boys playing for Wilson. Zak Denton and Jessee Trent. Will probably come again this year if I'm not scheduled to work. As I said good luck to Glenvar. Won't see you guys in basketball but hold out for baseball we are loaded and poised to make a good run this year alot more so than last.

I don't know if this will help, but the running back from Prince Edward County, Delquan Bigelow finished the season with 2,234 yards rushing and 31 TDs
Kid was a beast!!! Is he going to play college ball?saw him play earlier in year when they played amelia big strong back didn't get as Manny yards as he did against other teams against us but the kid is a beast him and regland are top 2 backs in 2a

What happened in grayson?

Lack of funds to support school staff. Don't know anything about the other things haven't heard nothing of that nature. But our school board and superintendent of apparently can't manage money. But also we had a secretary to embezzle alot of money from several sports accounts. Somewhere in the range of 40k and up. It's not that bad but we are losing students. Our enrollment is around 350 or so 9-12. So we are a very small D2.
